Boston likely to have a good defensive night because Carolina is rather punchless and they are sure to focus on D after yesterday's poor performance. Weekes played great last game and he is a streaky goalie.

Phoenix vs. PITTSBURGH under 5 +105 3*

'Yotes are likely to agree with Pittsburgh's defensive style in a game they need points from, preferably two. Burke, who has been playing well, should start tonight so I look for a low offensive output from Pittsburgh.

this from 'Canes official site posted today:

"The Canes got what passes for good news on Monday, when it turned out that defenseman Niclas Wallin was suffering from flu-like symptoms and not concussion-related symptoms. Of course, the bug threatens to keep Wallin out of tonight's lineup, as well as goalie Kevin Weekes, who is also sick and also missed Monday's practice....."


and that under is absolutely dependent on Weekes being in goal.
Irbe has been a mess.


Pitt Post-Gazette lists Boucher as the probable goalie today, but they aren't always accurate and I think wrong today. I would guess Burke.

Thanks for the info, Terryray. I may have to buy back that Carolina under with Irbe in net. I think I will wait until I see the lineups.
