Holding??
My god the dude was offsides to begin with
Let alone this was NO HOLD..
Refs were damn quick to give Pitt back the ball when Hasselback "FUMBLED" ...
Pass Interference in the end zone.. Stop ..
That holding call changed the whole game
woulda been Seattle by 3...

Just please dont tell me it wasnt fixed..
My buddy hit his 10-1 and 22-1 Pitt super Bowl winner plays
AND HE SAID ITS THE FIRST TIME HE WAS ON THE RIGHT END OF A FIX..
Talked to him all night said he wasnt even sweating it after the holding call cause he knew the Steelers would NEVER lose after that...
Congrats Pitt...
Just dont tell me there is no fix ..

Don't forget the H-beck "low block" that gave Pitt great field position. Roth tackles a guy and he's a hero. H'beck does it and its 15 yards.

Yeah, game was a total fix.

Whenever this type of money is thrown on a game like this, it certainly has hands dipped in! Now since all games are controlled by the money, you have to use that as a tool to gamble with.

Whoa..
I played Pitt and Pitt -3 for the half
I won on a questionable 1st Touchdown..
and I won on the game
Not a big play but a wins a win..
I just think the calls were VERY one sided..
Holding.. pass interference.. 1st TD.. Fumble by Hasselback..
Some one post penalties and I promise you it was 1 sided..
I Love Football.. I just dont want it to come to WWE clownlike status like the NBA and NCAA has gotten...

Let me understand this...the world supposedly is on steelers and the refs are told by men with power[vegas/books] to fix the game so pitt. wins/covers and the books lose their ass???

makes sense to me.

look pitt. def. got all the calls...but thats football nfl style...weve all been on both sides of bullshit calls but we just dont ever remember the ones that put money in our pockets, just the ones that take it....

gluck all, burgh.

OK fixed is a bad word
Bias officiating.. will that work..
Believe me.. I love the fact Pitt won and frankly I believe they are the better team (as proven in tonights final score)
It just seems very fishy...
Agree???

You are assuming the books made the payoff. You have no idea who made the payoff other than it was someone on Pittsburgh.

If a fix is in
The scriptwriters from the NFL would do it..
Not Vegas...
Just say hey great stories with the Bus at home, Cowher..
Pitt is a "Football" town.. return to glory
Hell where is Seattle anyway..
Thats what I mean when I say fix..

On the course!
Holmgren must have had his hands in it, too.

Did you like his three yard routes during the two minute drill, when he needed two scores?

well...it seemed to me that vs. indy they didnt want pitt. to win....i think there was many more outrageous calls that went against steelers in that game....so yeah i can agree with what ure saying....been on both sides of iit...i dont know if the nfl scripted it out for steelers to win but im sure an agruement could be made that seattle wouldve been beneficial for them to win it as well...i dont know, only thing i do know is this shit happens all the time...we all should be used to it by now....
i think sea. had their chaance in 1st half and yes the refs worked against them but they shouldve taken control of the game early...to clearly out play pitt. in 1st half and be down really hurt them...

I just wish the game didn't have so many questionable calls. Many games have them, but it seemed like this one took the cake. Pittsburgh made the plays when it counted and Seattle didn't. Seattle had to overcome a lot of penalties, but Stevens also fuked them with all his drops. Congrats to all the Pittsburgh fans, very nice run to end the season.

bias is the right word.no doubt about it seattle got the shit end of the calls.as they would if they played indy or any of the bigtime nfl franchises.its an obstacle you must overcome when your a small time franchise playing against bigtime teams.happens all the time in every sport, its part of the game and life.

no hands dippin, no excuse, no BS, no nothing. Did Pitt get all the breaks tonight, perhaps. This was a game that the Steelers coulda won by 20 with an MVP superbowl QB performance.

Pittsburgh won by 11. Their WR threw one pass better than any of the 20 something their QB threw. Yet they still won convincingly. That says something. Pittsburgh B- game was enough to beat Seattle's B+ game, bottom line. If both teams had played their A+ game, same result, maybe a closer score.

Seattle did get some bad breaks, but nothing so ridiculous to blow the game one way or the other. Remember, a first quarter penalty does not determine the game. They had PLENTY of opportunities after that and did not make plays when it counted.
