I took Philly on the moneyline tonight -320 (stupid, I know). Phils up 4-1 heading into the bottom of the 8th.
Anyway, Cole Hammels has given up just 5 hits, one walk, and one run in 8 innings. PLEASE leave him in to pitch the 9th!
Don't bring in Lidge...he stinks this year. And Madsen scares me too! If you're gonna lose, lose with your best pitcher.
Also, Adam Dunn is on the bench ready to hit a bomb off a righty reliever.
Leave Cole in!

NOOOOO!! It's Lidge! The 3 -run 9th inning lead is not safe.
I knew this was coming.....Dunn waiting for him.
I hate when managers do this, just because it is a 'save' situation.

ok...he gives up a run in his one inning (as many as Cole gave up inhis eight innings), but survived.
Still, Fightins' need to do something for the post season.
