So. Cal
i know the game has and he's getting happered but to assume pedro could last longer than most any starting pitcher right now is just now very smart

he wasnt even on a team 3 months ago
he doesnt have the same stamina or dominating stuff he used to have and getting by on 87-89 fastballs with change ups vs the yankees, esp the second time around is NOT a recipie for a long start.

i thought if he pitched well, he'd be lucky to make it thru 6 innings

so at this point, do you hope that he just stays in, no matter how many runs he gives up and hope that petite comes out before him????

the phillies basically have 9 outs left to generate 3 runs without giving up any......once the 8th inning rolls around, this thing is over.

All I am saying is stats. I have yet to express an opinion without them.

1. EVERY GAME - The starter who lasts longer has won every game
2. EVERY GAME - 3 Days rest has shown to increase ERA in every NYY pitcher

great trends there....:mj07:
