t4w......
I hope that your situation and your wife's health improve quickly with so many prayers and the support of your friends.Stay strong and supportive...I'm sure that you are taking some of the pressure off and helping to raise your wife's spirits...... sometimes a little outside support can help.....a priest...trusted friend etc. Sorry to hear this and hope all improves soon.

Though at the time it may seem to be the harshest course of action, taking your wife to the hospital was without a doubt the correct thing to do. I've experienced this before with a friend and I'm confident that with the proper help your lives will soon be back on track and quite possibly better than ever.
You re a good guy, so I know that she will receive the support from you that she will need to guide her through this ordeal.

Best wishes to the both of you.

Thanks everybody for your thoughts and prayers. The doctors say that many times it gets worse before it gets better. Hope they're right cause it's getting worse. Probably won't be around as much for awhile as I have two weeks left of school and my down time wil be spent with Kath. It's so sad. We've been so looking forward to getting near retirement and traveling. She just got her dream car two weeks ago (a little Sebring convertible) and we have a family reunion the first part of June. I pray she's there to join us. I really appreciate your prayers......keep them coming.

thoughts, wishes and prays from this side of the pond.

Hang on in there. The worst thoughts are always the one's that come to the front of the mind. Believe in your wife that she has the fight in her. She's in the best possible place. I know you have heard these a thousand times. These are what you should be saying to yourself and believing in them, in stead of all the bad thoughts, if's and emotions that play havoc with our minds.

 THE POWER OF PRAYER!!!!!!!! Thank you all sooooo much for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. I just came from the hospital and get to take her home tomorrow :) . This will be one very special Memorial Day weekend!!! Didn't think there for awhile that I would ever be fortunate enough again to celebrate with her. Our many personal friends as well as all the fine people here at MadJacks inundated heaven with so many prayers that there was no choice but to answer them (kinda like the squeakiest wheel getting greased first ;) ) I don't need explanations......just very happy with the results. Please know that any time any of you need prayers or supportive words sent in your direction that I have you covered.

1. Injections in her back should not mix with her system.

2. Does she have a history of these problems? If not, I would be worried that this is some kind of drug misuse/overdose as you said she has been mixing up her medications. It's hard to get really loopy like this all of a sudden.

3. I hope things turn out okay.

Bombs.....

I do appreciate you responding and if you are a doctor, your medical reasoning. HOWEVER... there have been many recent documented studies and discoveries on the effects of the spinal cortisone injections mixing with other chemicals or altering the functions of your body system. You are not alone in your thinking. The paramedics, emergency room attendants and doctor on call, the social worker present and recording secretary for the psych dept., as well as the pychiatrist doing the evaluation all missed this VERY IMPORTANT piece of information I was giving them. It wasn't until days after watching my beautiful wife suffer that I was able to present my opinions and observations to the medical board at her staffing that the true light was shed on this case. I have never seen so many jaws drop in unison when I told them my wife was not being treated for the right diagnosis, how it was hindering her instead of helping her, and still believed the spinal injection might have been to blame. Nobody in that room was aware of this!!!!!!WTF!!! The doctor in charge looked at me over his glasses and said, "I think we know what the problem is." Well, my wife is no longer in lala land, halucinating like a hippie in the 60's, and is completely lucid and ready to come home.

Taoist....Eddie.....may be seeking some advice soon :scared

Again, thank you my many friends for your concern. You will always be a very special part of my life :thumb:
