My adventurous 3 year old wanted to see what a plastic hangar would do when slipped in the crack behind one of our pocket doors.

How in the hell can I get that out? We now cannot close the door past halfway.

2 possible solutions......

1. You can take the pocket door off by unhooking the clips at the top that hold the door on. You will need to angle the bottom of the door out to get it off. These can be a bit tricky to get back on......

2. A lot of times there is a "stop" on the track that keeps the door from opening past halfway. Typically the builder will sink a screw or nail halfway into the frame to "stop" the door from opening more than it should. Remove the "stop" and the door should slide open far enough you can get something in the hole to pull out the hangar

Hope Blue Devils info will work for ya .

Most of the older units were installed before sheetrock was hung. If you have one of these you have to reverse the process.Tear out the sheetrock, hang the sheetrock, finish and then paint. Hope it don`t come down to this.
