POD BOYZ PLAY OF DAY SATURDAY JANUARY 20

Nova Report
The Cats are still on the road. They face an old Big East foe in the UCONN Huskies at noon at the XL Center in Hartford. The line is -16/145.
UCONN is 10-8 so far and coming off of their worst performance of the year at Memphis. Nova is coming off of their best shooting performance of the year at Georgetown. UCONN is led by Jalen Adams (18.5 ppg) at guard and he?ll be joined by Terry Larrier (who missed the Memphis game) at guard. Other than Vital at forward, maybe Josh Carlton is their only other threat. Nonetheless, like Georgetown, they are turnover prone and offensively challenged. In theory, Nova should smoke them. BUT....I smell a rat. Having lived in Connecticut during my Nova years and 20 years after graduation, I attended many Nova/UCONN games. The Cats didn?t win too many either at Storrs Or Hartford. Coach Ollie will be having ex-Huskie Shabazz Napier giving the team a pep talk and showing tape of UCONN beating Nova then going on to win the NCAA Championship tomorrow morning.
Additionally, shooting percentages typically go back to the mean. So I expect UCONN to shoot better and Nova worse than their previous games. My pick is UCONN+16.

for + 7.0 unit Friday on posted plays & now am + 20.4u for the week .. here's what
I played tonight for Saturday & back in the morning with my POD & more .. Salami
in pucks is projected to 72.45 goals & Roadteams by 3.2 goals over Hometeams.
GOOD LUCK SATURDAY, BOYZ !!!
Like the Boston Bruins, but their line opened at -155 & went to -160 where I got it,
and now at -165 .. thought about regulation time, but it looks precarious at -110
even with the Canadiens on a B2B, so I am going with the COL AV's for my POD,
as they are really hot right now & have won eight straight games, even covering
the -PL in five straight over CLMB 2-0, over MINN 7-2, over DAL 4-1, over ANA 3-1,
& over S.J. 5-3 .. they host the NY Rangers who are (7-9) on the Road this year
while the AV's are (17-7) @ Home .. it's Saturday & crazy things seem to happen
on Saturday so fingers crossed that they win their ninth straight to cash my POD!
