The Wildcats are in the Nation?s Capitol to take on the Georgetown Hoyas (15-15) at high noon eastern. Cats are -7.5/144.5.
Georgetown has been in a funk. They have had injuries but a significant one which kept McClung out last game is better and he?ll be ready to go. Since he?s their leading scorer at just under 16 ppg, it?s a big lift. After him, 7 footer Yurtseven averages 13.2 ppg and 8.3 boards. Jamorko Pickett averages just under 10 per game and may be their best deep threat. They ARE good offensive rebounders. When they score 72 points or less, they are 0-12. Needless to say, they will press the pace.
VILLANOVA is coming off their best played game of the season winning at #8 Seton Hall 79-77. The young Cats can actually tie for first in the Big East Conference should The Hall lose in Omaha to Creighton. That game begins when the VILLANOVA game ends. The question in this game is how will the young Wildcats react after a huge emotional victory? They beat the Hoyas about 2 months ago 80-66. I would argue that Nova is better than back then and Georgetown is worse.
Hedging my bet with a teaser: Nova-2.5/Under 149.5.
