Good Morning, BoyZ .. Friday's MLB POD SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS -RL(+130) was an EASY $$$ POD WINNAH, SF GIANTS 9-1.
Logan with 8 great innings pitched, and Wilmer Flores 3 HR's & 8 RBI's I think tying him with Judge for the MLB RBI lead.
( 0 - 1 ) ( - 4.6* ) units Friday on an NHL posted play, and I am now ( - 14.5* ) units for the week on posted NHL plays.
For the PREAKNESS, I again bet the favorite JOURNALISM-125 to WIN in a Future play, and for LL's 5 horse Exacta Box, I played 1, 2, 6, 7, 8.
1) GOAL ORIENTED 2) JOURNALISM 6) RIVER THAMES 7) SANDMAN 8) CLEVER AGAIN .. had to stick a RIVER horse in there for my name sake.
Thought about calling JOURNALISM-125 my POD, but I think I'll just stick with my SF GIANTS-133 for the POD. Finished #2-9 in Exacta $33.80

TC .. tough to gage the pace in this one, but even though Baffert's horse is unraced in a Graded Stakes race,
he did run a 104 at CD on Derby Day. Yes, it was just 1 1/16th in Race 3, but if Baffert believes he fits in this
race, I have to think he may have the lead early in this one. This should be a quick pace, and if Journalism breaks
clean and sits 5th or so off the leaders maybe 5 lengths off, he should be in a good spot when they hit the stretch.
That American Pharoah colt should fly out of there from the 8 hole & may vie for the lead. If they go out too fast
watch out for Sandman in the stretch. Good luck today! Should be fun. Track rated "good" early day.
Journalism ran a 102 on Derby Day. Got to think Baffert's horse running a 1O4 on the same track same day is pretty fast.

With only 9 horses going and an even money favorite, pretty difficult to make money on my customary 5 horse exacta box. In fact, this isn’t a great race to bet. But, being a degenerate gambler and coming off a winning exacta in the Kentucky Derby, I am putting down $40. Here we go. Journalism, second in the Derby, should win this race going away. He is head and shoulders better than the other 8 horses. But…it’s a horse race, anything can happen. River Thames has been pretty consistent, just missing in two graded stakes races. Sandman may have worn himself out in the Derby but with 3 speed horses who will run for the lead, he may pass enough horses to get second.
My recommended bets: $5 exacta box ($30 total) 2-Journalism 6-River Thames 7-Sandman. $5 to win on 2-Journalism and $5 to win on 6-River Thames. There you go: $40 in total.

#9 horse was the last one I threw out; kept thinking about him all day. I'm happy JOURNALISM won it after
