The Preakness Stakes
Well, the Derby didn’t work out so well as an 80-1 shot came in. That won’t happen today in Baltimore. The Preakness typically has favorites crossing the wire first. So, for today, I am betting a $3 4 horse exacta box, $36, plus a $4 win ticket for a total of $40. Here we go:
Exacta Box: 1 Simplification, 4 Secret Oath, 5 Early Voting, 8 Epicenter.
Win Ticket: 4 Secret Oath
Secret Oath was impressive winning the Kentucky Oaks. This filly has the capacity and will to beat this crop of boys. Epicenter is always first or second and will be the favorite. Early Voting has every statistical analysis angle in his favor. Simplification ran an impressive Derby and could surprise if he stays close to the speed in the race.
