The LEGENDARY 5 HORSE EXACTA BOX
It?s Derby Time! Each year I post a 5 horse Exacta Box. A $2 Exacta Box will cost you $40 but you could win several hundred! Plus it?s a fairly economical way to have a rooting interest in the Kentucky Derby.
It seems like the last several years, the weather has been iffy. Today is no exception. It is important because a wet track favors speed. In my box, one horse, My Boy Jack (10) is a closer.
The Box: 5-6-7-10-11. Audible (5) can run in front, stalk or close. Smart trainer/jockey and I believe he can go a mile and a quarter. Good Magic (6) is a horse who has trained well this week and looks prepared to run an eye popping race. Justify (7) is the favorite. I tried hard to throw him out but he?s the best athlete in the race. My Boy Jack (10) is a seasoned closer. Pay attention to the track. It DOES dry fast. If it?s wet, consider substituting (16) Magnum Moon. Lastly, Bolt D?Oro (11). Another horse that looks like it?s sitting on a big run today. There you have it: 5-6-7-10-11
