POD: 2 team ML parlay (1 unit To Win 1.34):
Boston Red Sox -215 (Pelfrey/Fister) 1:35 PM
Tampa Bay Rays -167 (Nelson/Archer) 1:10 PM
My record this thread since May 1, 2016: 210-226-16, -33.81 units (if risked 1 unit on each pick, most those losses in March+April)......36-41-6 last 83
Milwaukee Tampa Bay 1:10 Nelson (Archer - Nelson excellent of late, 5 of last 6 starts went under. Archer off a lessor effort, look for him to bounce back at home as he always does. Brewers have never faced him, and he is always strong first time he pitches against a new club, let alone throwing all his strikes against weak bats like the free swinging Brewers (take the 'over' on Archer SO and Brewers TT under)...Nelson has never faced the Rays, but he hasn't been the same kind of lights-out pitcher vs guys who never seen him like Archer is (tho Nelson is decidedly better this season than his past ones)..
TB fighting for playoff spot, lost last few nights, so I look for them to bounce back with win today and avoid sweep (they've been swept at home just once this season - 3 one run losses to TX, 1st one in extra innings)...Brewers under is 7-0-1 last 8, and 16-3-1 last 20(!) with their weak bats and fine pitching...So I'm on the under (as those TB bats will score, but not break out) and TB...
White Sox Boston 1:35 Pelfrey (Fister - CWS have now lost lost 19 of thier last 22 games. As I said over week ago, blindly bet against them every game..Fister not very good, he could throw a dud (tho he usually does those vs strong teams), but he has an improved bullpen behind him now, so not a huge worry - worst case a battle of bullpens start with Bosox down 2-5, they still gonna win at home, but covering the RL not nearly as confident as yesterday
and gotta mention:
L.A. Dodgers Mets 8:08 Ryu (Matz - Well, as if it matters - Ryu has been sharp of late, even on the road, Dodgers feast on inconsistent lefties like Matz these last few months and especially bullpens like Mets (Dodgers have outscored Mets 49-15 this season) blah blah, really, all that doesn't matter much.
Dodgers are racking up the wins at an insane rate, they will end this season with one of the top 10 winningest regular season campaigns ever in over 100 years of MLB history...Bettors for years will say "Remember those 2017 Dodgers winning nearly every game last few months of the season, boy, don't you wish there was a cash machine like that today"!
and tonight, Dodgers are primed to stuff their stuff on national TV, ESPN game, as many of the casual MLB fans are E. Coast and aren't up late enough to see Dodgers games...
