Nova Report
The defending Champs are back home to do battle with the Seton Hall Pirates. The opening line is Nova -8.5/145.5. Tip is 2:30 eastern.
Seton Hall has not won AT Villanova in about 25 years. The Pirates are 12-7 and struggling. Why? Their whole team revolves around Myles Powell. When he?s ON they win (beat Kentucky and Maryland). When he?s not, they lose. Not by a lot, usually 4 or 5 points, but they lose. Powell knocks in over 22 per game. The only supporting cast members worth mentioning are: McKnight (10.3 ppg) and Mamukalashvili (9.7 ppg). The Hall does not turn over the ball much, are decent defensively and average, at best, offensively.
For Villanova, they just keep getting better each game. Eventually, they have to have a clunker but it should not be today. They can score more, rebound better and defend better than Seton Hall.
Cats-8 (buy hooker) is my play.
