The #1 Wildcats kick off Super Sunday at noon in the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia (title town?) vs. the Pirates of Seton Hall (17-5; 6-3 in Big East). The line is -12.5/155.5.
The Hall has gone close to 25 years without beating the Cats at home. They are 0-14 all time vs a #1 ranked club. The current Seniors (Delgado, Rodriguez, Carrington and Sanogo) are 2-6 vs Nova losing all three trips to the Philly area by an average of 19 points.
Nonetheless, this is a good club who will go far in the Big Dance. They have tried, previously, up tempo, down tempo....the Cats have just had the answers at home.
For Nova, they tied a school record draining 19 three pointers last game. I suspect that won?t happen today. The Cats have the Pirate?s number for some reason so the play is a 5 point teaser:
