Wow! No fans tonight! The Garden is like a home court for the Wildcats. No crowd to feed off of...not tonight; not anytime soon. March Madness is one player testing positive away from cancellation. Tonight, Villanova is -9/137 as they take on the DePaul Blue Demons at 7:00 pm eastern in NY City.
Last night, DePaul ended Xavier?s chance to enter the Big Dance (71-67). It was the Charlie Moore and Paul Reed show. They are hoping to keep it going tonight vs. the Wildcats. DePaul has lost 20 straight to VILLANOVA and that is likely not to change tonight.
It looks like to me that DePaul may want to run tonight. Last night, they were more effective when they went up tempo. As it?s the second game in two nights for the Blue Demons, the Cats may want to go up tempo also to wear them out by the second half. A win tonight would secure a #3 seed for Nova in the NCAA?s.
The crystal ball says DePaul can?t hang with Villanova for 40 minutes. BUT, hedging my bet in a teaser. I can see this going Over the number, too. Bet is: Nova-4/Over 132.
