Was just coming here to see if a thursday thread was up yet. Got a rise and shine POD:

Luke Donald -150 over Tiger Woods - Round 1 Matchup. 8:39AM Tee Time (I think eastern)

Donald has played this tourney 5 times. Came in 4th once and averages 22nd. Never missed the cut. He's already won once on tour this year a little under 2 months ago. Came in 3rd in his last tourney 2 weeks ago in Nawlins. Playing solid golf

Tiger has played the Players 4 times: 1 top 10 and averages 63rd. Had two top3s in march this year. But in April he had one of his worst finishes at Augusta in years and then missed the cut last weekend - I heard was only the 8th cut he's ever missed IN HIS CAREER. he's playing pretty bad right now. His 1st round scores in most tournaments this year have been right around even par.

Donald can go low on this short, tight course that plays to his strength of being pretty accurate but cant hit the long ball. I feel like all he has to do is shoot under par to beat Tiger tomorrow.

Pretty big play for me. And probably will also get on -.5 strokes for better juice in the morning when those lines come out

Come say LUKE

Minnesota has only won eight games this year, and now they must face HENDERSON ALVAREZ who just threw a complete game 6-hit shutout @ LAA. In fact, Alvarez as just allowed 3 runs in his L22 IP (3 starts) and seems to be getting stronger, allowing just 1 run in his L15 IP. Amazingly, for a 22-year old kid, he has great control, throwing 71 strikes out of 97 pitches in his last game. TORONTO is (25-7) in their L32 meetings with the Twins and (12-2) in their L14 games @ Minnesota. The Twins have just won 3 of their L16 games, overall. Jason Marquis comes off a 7-0 loss @ Seattle on Saturday in which he walked six batters .. go with the Jays one more time. Both the GAME and FIRST FIVE INNINGS are Toronto -150, right at our limit. Going with the (1H) as my POD .. hope I can hit it after losing two POD's in a row.

PLAYS ( MLB & NBA):

pod> (1H) TOR - 150 ***
TOR - 150 **
triple> 1h wash / tor / nuggets ml --> 1.3*/ 5.0*

=============================

POD ( MLB ):

(1H) TOR - 150 ( Alvarez H. / Marquis J. )

=============================

3 UNIT PLAY

BOUNCE BACK STRONG, BOYZ !!!!

Last of 5 ??? What are you talking about Teddy? My horse ran second, and my exacta finished 2nd and 3rd .. I just didn't use the #7. I layed down after lunch and fell asleep .. did not get to watch the race, so I canNOT comment on it. But, my horse was NOT last of five. Probably shouldn't have posted the race. Having enough trouble trying to find a winner period.

CULPRIT .. PITT +RL is w/ pitchers STRASBURG & CORREIA, and you are directly butting heads with Teddy, so no sweep, tonight. : (
