Early leans on :

1. Titans at home on TNF in Nash catching at least a TD

2. Troy at home catching 2 from WKU (although i think WKU is a GREAT team, okay that was Nick Saban's comments,,,but i really do think they are a good team. I do like the MEN OF TROY at home getting a couple. ONe of the shareholders at my office son plays LB for Troy ... #33 Tyler Roberts...good kid...RedShirt FRESH starting and playing well. He's from the HOOVER HIGH powerhouse here in B"ham...
3. AZ ST (small) to kick A**

back w/ POD shortly..

2-0 Monday as Jets and under both cashed. And now for the Thursday nighter. If this were Sunday, I would pass on this one....BUT: backing Over 43.5. I expect Hasselbeck to have a more than decent game vs. a still banged up defense for the Steelers. Conversely, there is no reason why Pitt cannot run all day vs. the Titans.

In College, also sticking to the Totals as the lines seem spot on. Taking ASU Under 57. Buffs should play well at home and Devils will be tough defensively. Also on, Tulsa Over 57.5. These teams make too many BIG defensive mistakes to back an Under. Lastly, a HUGE Sun Belt game as the Hilltoppers take on Troy. It's the Sun Belt so Over is always a better choice. The pick is Over 54.5.

Summary: Pitt Over 43.5, ASU Under 57, Tulsa Over 57.5 and Troy Over 54.5....your PICKS for Thursday evening!

NFL 30-23-3

BILLY .. if that was meant as a POD, you need to mark it that way, and list the pitchers with your TOTAL.

Good morning fellas ...fun day, yesterday & my only loser was on the anchor of my quad, a TOTAL of course .. needed four runs in the first five innings to cash that quad .. thought they had a good chance in the top of the fourth when Detroit led off with a homer to make it 2-0 & then put two on base with no outs .. now, earlier in the game, they surprised me by bunting the man over from second to third to set up their first run .. don't see that in A.L. much, but in this situation, they opted to not bunt the two runners over to second and third, and Peralta chased ball four to ground into a DP .. and, that was it for my quad .. I did however start another quad with the 1h UND 3' for a bit of a pseudo-hedge : ) & hit my triple yesterday but it was reduced to a parlay with the TIE and + 2.1 units .. hit my POD and now (2-1) for POD's and finished Humpday at + 2.1 units on posted plays and am now + 5.0 u for the week .. usually don't bet series bets, because it alters how you think/bet the individual games within the series, and that is playing with my head with a 4 unit series bet on SF .. Reds seem to have the advantage in this early game, as they have enjoyed facing Matt Cain, and the L3 times he has faced them, he gave them 3 runs in 6.1 IP (5 hits & 2 HR's), 5 runs in 6.2 IP (11 hits & 2 HR's), and 3 runs in 5.0 IP (5 hits & 2 HR's), so you can see, they have 6 HR's off him in those L3 starts against them, while Latos has mastered them in his L2 starts against SF to the tune of ZERO RUNS in 7 IP and ONE RUN in 9 IP .. ZERO HR's in both .. so, what I did was bet the Reds first five innings and put the SF +RL in a parlay .. of course, if the Giants win the 1H and Reds win the game by two or more, with my series bet and my plays today, I could lose 7.7 units .. so, I've got my fingers crossed .. should be on the Reds for my POD but just canNOT do it .. decided to go with 1H DET and VERLANDER as the POD, instead .. really want the A'S, but it is very difficult to go aganst one of the top pitchers in baseball, because ya know he is going to be hard to beat, although I did stick A'S +RL in a triple and DET in the quad, so a one-run Tiger win would work well for me .. VERLANDER's L4 vs the A'S have been super .. 0 runs 8 IP, 1 run 7 IP, 0 runs 6 IP, & 1 run 7 IP, while Parker vs DET 2 runs 5.2 IP & 3 runs 6.1 IP, thus the edge in 1H to DET and my POD .. tried another OVER in the STL/WASH game .. they got the bats going yesterday and Jim Joyce is on a little bit of an OVER run TY at (23-11) .. whatever you do BoyZ, DO IT WELL !!!!!!!

POD

Verlander/Parker
u6.5
-110

Also think A's +140 or whatever has value but I'm too emotionally involved in this game to take a side.

Giants betta add-on .. Reds are perfectly capable of coming back with the home run in this park!

Nice pick, Packer! Wish I had gone that way .. wanted a little protection with that series bet and thought I'd take a stab at 1h Reds but contemplated 1h sf +1/2 too but opted for sf +rl for the game in my quad, and 1h sf +1/2 was (-135) on my site .. thought that was a bit much .. hope Cain can keep the ball in the park.

Man, did they get lucky ... thought it was total insanity not to pull Cain .. when you're in a pitching duel nuttin'-nuttin thru four innings, and your team gets you six runs in the top of the fifth .. the sign of a good pitcher is to go out there and shut-'em down in the bottom of the fifth .. but, Cain gives 'em two runs back .. thought that would be the end of him, but he is out there in the sixth and gives up a lead off HR to make it 6-3 .. time to get him(?) ... NO .. then he walks the next batter .. and, they go out I think to pull him .. still leave him in .. line drive base hit by Rolen to center .. two on and no outs, and he is still throwing ... total insanity .. he goes to a full count and throws what coulda been ball four to load 'em up with no outs .. instead he gets the friendly called strike three and a throw 'em out at third with the runner trying to steal .. really, really lucky !!!!!!!! Finally, they bring in the reliever to get the third out .. that coulda been their season, right there .. it was nice that Hallion gave them the third called strike .. he is on a nice ROAD TEAM RUN of 23-11 TY for the road team! GO GIANTS !!!!!!!
