In the baseball game, many expect an UNDER,
especially with all hands on deck and a quick hook on these starters with so much at risk. The starting pitchers, Fister & Nova faced each other
in the game that resumed on Saturday in the seond inning, with Fister going 4 2/3 IP, allowing
6 runs on 7 hits & 2 walks, and Nova going 6 1/3 IP, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits & 5 walks. Actually,
Nova got real lucky to only get nicked for 2 runs
when he had five walks in 6 IP. But, 6' 8" Fister
has been really good for DET since coming over from Seattle, going (8-1) for them, so I can see
why most expect a lower scoring game, tonight.
And, Nova has had a great year for the Yanks
as well. I think the Yanks take this one at home,
but the line is over our POD LIMIT of - 150, so I
am going with the OVER 9 as my POD. It was
at (-115) when I played it, but is down to (-110)
now, so early money is going to the UNDER.
OVERS have gone 10-5-1 TY in the PLAYOFFS,
and I'll take a chance that that continues, although all the big names will be in the pen to
help beat me .. C.C. available for relief .. Mariano
available for more than one inning, so I guess I had
better get lucky, huh? Maybe Lady Luck will smile on me one more time.
