After 6 games on the road , the Wildcats are back on campus to take on the virtually untested Butler Bulldogs at 7:00 eastern. The line is Nova-12.5/132.
Butler beat W.Michigan by 4 and went into a Covid coma right after. So they haven?t played since 11/25. They are led by Sr. Guard AARON Thompson and South Carolina transfer, Jair Bolden. The rest of the players are Freshman who have a lot of promise. The two best are Myles Tate and Chuck Harris. Bottom line is they?ve played one game and not sure how many full practices they?ve had. So, it?s tough to cap off of this.
My guess is they will go up tempo and shoot a lot of 3?s. Thompson and Bolden will run the show. As they go so go the Bulldogs. The Cats are likely to smother those two on the perimeter and make them go inside to their untested Freshmen.
For Nova, they definitely want to start fast and build a big lead. The Georgetown game was brutal. Down 22 in the first half, 13 at half but winning by 13 takes a lot of energy. Overall, I think it will be a long night for the Bulldogs as the Cats have played together more and have more experience pretty much in every position.
