The Wildcats are home for only the 5th time this season. Nova is 9-4 and 19th ranked. They take on Creighton who destroyed them on 12/17 79-59. Game is at 8:30 eastern.
Not much has changed since they last met. Creighton had a few games cancelled then beat Marquette in double OT. Nova beat Xavier and Seton Hall. The line is Nova-10.5/130.
In the game at Creighton, Nova was coming off a complete dismantling by Baylor. They shot terribly that night and Creighton shot 54%. Ryan Hawkins had a big night. Ryan Kalkbrenner was kept in check offensively by Nova but his 5 blocks and 7?1? presence disrupted the Cats.
Verses Seton Hall, the Wildcats started getting back to playing Villanova basketball. Expect a great defensive effort tonight. We also saw Antoine and Longino get more minutes signifying that Coach Wright believes they can play defense.
What will happen: I am TOTALLY convinced that Nova will break out of their shooting slump, defend Creighton well and cover this spread.
