DA MAN got us on Tuesday, as the BoyZ go (3-4). We are sitting on a HUUUUUUGE DAY on HUMPDAY .. I can feel it !!!!!!!!

Prob gonna be a popular pick on the board today but I think it's the right pick. Sanchez averaging a walk per inning over 17.1IP this year. Only 13Ks which is supposed to be his upside: 9 k/9 2011, 9.5 k/9 2010. I feel like the move to the AL has hurt his stock dramatically. Pitched 5 decent innings against Detroit a couple weeks ago, but that was at home. And the Tigers were slumping (Miguel slumping big time) at that point. Only pitchers to shut down the Tigers in the last 2 weeks are Felix and CC. Sanchez is not in the same area code as they are. Verlander is Verlander. Pitched a 2-run complete game against KC @ KC 2 weeks ago. 1.61 ERA at home this year. Have a feeling he's going to do well in this one.

Bluejays blew their load lastnight coming back from 5-0. Rangers haven't lost b2b since something crazy like last July.
I take a shot at an early game, as the 'Stros go for the SWEEEEEEEEEP over the Muts. Probably not a good idea play a bad team, but Wandy is on the bump .. he may not get alot of run support, but he is still off to a (2-2; 1.72 ERA) start and posted a 1.38 ERA in his L2 starts. In four career HOME starts vs NYM, he is (2-0) w/ 1.72 ERA. Mets pitcher Chris Schwinden (0-0; 11.25) is going for his second start filling-in for Pelfrey. He is (0-2) w/ 5.76 ERA in five major league starts, and in his first start TY, he allowed 6 runs on 7 hits w/ 2 HR's in an 18-9 loss to the Rockies. HP UMP MIKE MUCHLINSKI was (20-7) LY for the HOME TEAM, (11-5) '10 Hometeam, (8-3) '09 Hometeam, (6-1) '08 Hometeam, (4-3) '07 Hometeam, (6-3) '06 Hometeam .. that is (55-22) L6 years for the HOME TEAM .. HOUSTON -147 for me!

TIGERS .. the great Justin Verlander goes for his sixth straight win vs the Royals. Detroit has won five in a row against KC and 14 of their L19 meetings. Verlander won the CY & MVP LY, and he is (14-2) w/ 2.37 ERA in his career vs KC. At home, he is (5-0) vs KC in seven home starts against them, limiting the Royals to a .194 batting average in those seven home starts.

I've got a good feeling about today, fellas!!! The Padres pulled through for me last night, but I really like the other side tonight...unfortunately, the price just hit MIL -153, so I can't play it, but if any of you want to parlay it with another play, I would feel good about it myself.
Having said that...I'll come up with another play or check back if the price drops below -150.
