Nova Report

The #3 ranked Cats are in Providence to take on the Friars at the Dunk around 7:00 pm. Nova trounced Providence about 3 weeks ago in Philly 89-69. Booth and Paschall combined for 25 points in that one. They are both out of this game. Providence has issues of its own. They were embarrassed by DePaul last out but Lindsey, their only legitimate 3 point shooter, was out with a concussion and Bullock and Cartwright played despite having the flu. Tonight, Lindsey will return and the flu Boys will both be playing but neither are 100%.

The line is -9/153.5. Nova blew out Butler in the second half last out bouncing back from a loss to St.Johns. Nova has Xavier on Saturday in Cincy and the hype for these two #1 seeds (currently) has already started. Providence gets into the NCAA?s comfortably with a win tonight.

My guess is the Friars will slow the ball down due to having a flu bitten team. If Lindsey is all over his concussion, you?ll see him hoist up more 3?s than normal as he shoots 46% from deep. Despite also being depleted, Nova may play up tempo if they sense they can tire out Bullock and Cartwright.

So....taking Nova-9 tonight and looking for Brunson to have a big game. We shall see!

Go Cats!

LATE BREAKING NEWS:

Eric Paschall will suit up and MAY play tonight
