leaving out at 7am to drive to dothan alabama and play the robert trent jones course there for a charity tourney. need to go ahead and get my play in tonight.

POD:

Rickie Fowler +.5 -130 over Tiger

Rickie hit more fairways, greens and had fewer putts than Tiger. As expected, Tiger couldn't sniff red figures today. Stayed over par or even from the get go. Rickie made a couple of bad shots that kept him from being a few under par. Playing much better golf that Tiger. Lots of people I know that love Tiger are questioning his mentality out there... Just doesn't have the competitive edge anymore. Feel pretty good about Fowler shooting even or better tomorrow. :0008

Why upset the applecart .. Jays keep on winning for me and had them L2 days in FIRST FIVE INNINGS, so why not??!!!! TORONTO will go for their 6th straight win @ Minnesota and have now won 13 of their L15 visits to Minnesota. The JAYS start KYLE DRABEK (2-3; 3.34) who faced the Twins once LY, allowing 1 run in 7 IP in a 6-1 win. His opponent Nick Blackburn (0-4; 6.84) has fared well vs the Jays at (1-1) w/ a 2.33 ERA. Toronto is 10-7 on the Road TY, while the Twins are 4-11 at Home TY. Toronto on the Road vs RH-starters TY is (8-5), while Twins at Home TY vs RH-starters are (3-7). PITT .. JAMES McDONALD (2-1; 2.70) has not allowed more than 3 runs in any of his 6 starts TY. Unfortunately, the Pirates have given him 2 or fewer runs in 5 of his 6 starts TY. But, he is (2-1) w/ 2.48 ERA in 5 career starts vs the 'Stros. His opponent Bud Norris is (1-3) w/ 5.40 ERA in 4 starts @ PNC Park. Houston is (4-9) on the Road TY, while Pittsburgh is (8-7) @ Home TY. Norris on the Road TY is (1-1) w/ a 7.64 Road ERA TY, while McDonald at Home TY is (1-0) w/ 1.86 ERA Home TY.

METS .. JOHAN SANTANA is (6-1) w/ 1.46 ERA in 10 starts vs the Marlins, including a 0.84 ERA in his L6 games vs them. METS are (5-0) in their L5 meetings with Marlins & (8-2) in their L10 vs the Fish.

ST LOUIS & OVER .. Cardinals go for their 5th straight win and 8th straight win @ Home, averaging 7.5 rpg in their win streak. Braves starter Mike Minor (2-2; 5.97) has allowed 7 runs & 8 runs in his L2 starts. Lance Berkman could be back in the lineup tonight after missing 19 games. Jamie Garcia (2-2; 3.76) has had trouble lately allowing walks, but he is (2-0) w/ 2.84 ERA in 3 starts vs ATL. The Cards have not lost at Home to the Braves since September of 2009.

MARINERS .. FELIX HERNANDEZ (3-1; 1.89) has allowed 2 runs or fewer in 6 of 7 starts TY, and the 2010 CY YOUNG AWARD WINNAH allowed just 1 hit w/ 9 K's in 8 IP in a 7-0 win over the Twins in his last start. He is (4-1) w/ 1.96 ERA in his career @ NYY, winning all 3 of his starts in the new Yankee Stadium. He'll face Hiroki Kuroda, who faced Seattle once when he was with the Dodgers, allowing 4 runs in 6 IP in a 4-2 loss.

FELIX is (2-0) w/ 2.76 ERA on the Road TY.

OVER @ FENWAY .. both Ubaldo Jimenez & Clay Buchholz have been struggling. The OVER is (8-5) for Cleveland on the Road TY, and the OVER is (10-4) for the Red Sox at Home TY. Jimenez has a 5.74 ERA on the Road TY, and Buchholz has a 8.10 ERA at Home TY .. CAVEAT > we don't get the best ump for this endeavor. : (
