Jon Lester not feeling well tonight .. was late getting to the mound to start the game and looks a little green in the dug out .. threw half a game in pitches in the second inning (49 pitches) and has 63 pitches through two innings. Of course, the Rangers' lineup may have something to do with that! Really hard to pull the trigger against Texas, 'cause they can really hit and score.
Carlos Beltran with the first inning dinger off the Louie Tiant look alike .. although, I think Johnny Cueto has developed into a pretty nice pitcher, but these Cardinals can ht the ball !!!

I had already counted it as a winnah .. didn't notice it was a parlay .. thought he just had OV 9 nyy, which, of course, would have been 'nuff for the win .. lets get that parlay then, Teddyboy!
Lost my POD, as the Pirates and Snakes were tied-up at 3-3 after five innings .. they were hitting Karstens and had two runs on three hits off him in the first inning, but for some reason he left the game and the relievers held AZ after the second inning .. think if Karstens stays in there, I cash my ticket but will never know .. tuff card, it was either STL first half or AZ -1/2 first half and chose wrong as the Cardinals cashed .. I'll get him, tomorrow!
TC comes thru with the late POD win on the Indians, but DA MAN gets the nod on us on Tuesday, as the BoyZ go (3-4).
Personally, I had a losing night on posted plays - 6.0 UNITS but still am up for the week + 3.1 UNITS .. was a tough card and got some bad bounces, but that's baseball .. manana will hopefully bring some line drives that find the gap!
