Poker Question

While I don't play poker that often I just played in a sit n go with 6 players.

We are down to 4 players I am short stack with 900 or so chips other 3 players around 2000 and up, I get A10 diamonds, and go all in, guy calls me with 88, I end up winning, but the guy was giving me shit b/c I went all in with A10 suited, maybe it was just sour grapes, but was that so out of line to make that play?

Depending on what the blinds were I guess its not a horrible play but defintly not one I would do on a consistent basis. What were the blinds?

There was a time when I might have said, "I'm not that good of a poker player, but I did win this one and you have a big L on your forehead."

if you got less than 10 big blinds its the right play 100 percent of the time and its an insta call from him as well.

its a 50/50 hand (the coinflip term is really lame and sounds like you watch too much tv)

you both played it fine and he'll win half the time and so will you.
