Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Evangelicals make up 25% of the folks who can be botherd to vote, and 78% of 'em in last election went Republican.

Reuters today reports Evangelical's support for his war effort slipped from 71% to 58% (poll by Pew Research).

EVANGELICAL PREACHER SEZ BUSH'S POLICY IN IRAQ IS DELAYING THE SECOND COMING

A "theological" example of Evangelical's increasing criticism of Bush came from the mind of Houston preacher (sometimes Trinity Broadcasting Network guest) K. Paul few weeks back:

The Houston-based preacher said he believes that the Bush administration has delayed the second coming because U.S. foreign policy has blocked Christian missionaries from working in Iraq, Iran and Syria.

"Somebody needs to say enough is enough," he said to worshippers who stood, waved and called out in support.

At just over 5 feet tall, the charismatic man in a beige three-piece suit trimmed with sparkles is the latest - and perhaps the most flamboyant - voice in the debate....

"God is mad at this country," Paul told the congregation. He described the war in Iraq as "unnecessary genocide."

They will be back these are not America's brightest. All i hear is gay marriage this gay marriage that. The snakes are bringing out the gay card as well as the race card. Soon the flag burning card as well as their famous favorite the terror card. Ole Hillary fell for the gay card today. Hook line and sinker. What the republicans do is not to hard to figure out. What is hard to figure out is how the democrats fall for it time and time again. Its greed against the gullible.

Agreed Sponge. The Democrats are not the brightest bunch but right now they are our alternative to the disgrace the Neocons have brought us. The Two years from now we will have to make some big changes and hope someone emerges to pull us out of the messes the cons have wrought. For now grid lock is our best bet and we will only get that by voting the Republican out and sending a message to them all that we are not going to take the lies and perverts and greed anymore. From either party. Time to start to take the country back.

Stevie it probably is the most difficult thing to do in politics. You get a guy in ucoon run a straight campaign, win, and all the sudden this guy Liberman is a independent. If Liberman wins this takes politics in my mind even further back.
