All three that i've seen since the debate show a dead heat. Exactly even. Seems that Bushs 11 point lead after the RNC and his 8 point lead just last week have disappeared. If the next two debates go somewhat like the first one, this will be a very interesting and close election.

It seems that way. Maybe it's due to what did he say? Like Mad Jack said after Bush's State of the Union Address. He said a lot of nothing. Or something close to that. He better come with more this time or Kerry might end up winning. He just looks tired. I think you get tired faster when trying to push to much BS.

The heat is exactly even??? That isn't what I just read.
If polls don't mean anything I guess it doesn't matter than even after Kerry's victorious debate he still trails Bush by 25 points when it comes to America's opinion of who will be strongest on fighting terror and keeping America safe. I wonder why that is?

And c'mon, sarcasticly saying "good luck" to our country? That's just a shit-ass attitude to have. I'll bet you feel this way everyday Kosar.
Good to see we have some true patriotic Americans in here. I'm just so glad none of you are overseas fighting for the rest of us.

with John Kerry egging the attacks on by saying
"more deaths in July than June"
"more deaths in August than July"
"more deaths in September than August"
"more deaths in October than September"

i can see why terrorists might get a little excited and Americans may get a little worn out.....

This buffoon will stop at nothing to put political ambition ahead of the country.....

he did it 35 years ago and he is doing it again today.....

Unbelievable.

Good comment there I LOVE WR. Guess you didn't have much of an argument for Freeze after he just hit the nail on the head. I guess the "LOL" was due to the speechlessness.

Freeze:

It amazes me that you and your republican fellows have such a problem with the f***ing truth. You see pumpkin, I was around in Viet Nam and I remember how the government covered up the truth and lied to the public.

At least some of us would like to know what is really going on and not the sugar coated, "mission accomplished" version this lying administration is selling to fools like you.

For some reason, you think terrorists are attacking us based on how this war is being presented in the media. I can see it now...."Machmed. Do you see what Kerry doing? Him say we are winning war against American pigs. Lets go and fly plane into building."

Sorry Doc, but things don't work that way. Kerry is telling the truth and Bush is telling us things are going well. Even though it is hard work. What a joke this guy is.

And by the way, little reminder, I heard last night that we have 37,000 dead civilians in Iraq. Why isn't our government putting out the numbers. Oh yeah, they said they weren't counting. If you buy that, then you for sure are a Bush voter.

Freeze, why are these people dead? Were they getting ready to launch one of those mysterious weapons of mass destruction at your trailer in Manhattan?

You know the liberal media is not showing body bags due to corporate americas threat to pull their advertising if they do. You say "... Kerry is putting political ambition ahead of the country."

I got to give you credit. In the nearly 4 years I've been coming to this website and in reading the thousands of posts I have read here that comment has to be the most creative assembly of words I have ever read.

To say that Kerry is putting political ambition ahead of this country when George Walker Bush launched an unprecedented attack against a country which hadn't attacked us based upon a perceived threat which was false and killed 37,000 Iraqi civilians, killed over 1000 Americans, injured over 7000 Americans and killed and injured untold numbers of Iraqi military, gets my vote for post of the year.

George Walker Bush launched this war to satisfy his own political and financial ambitions. George Walker Bush is a hit man for corporate america. And you contend Kerry is the guy putting political ambitions ahead of this country. Wow.

I gotta give you credit. Of all the outlandish, ridiculous, moronic, stupid, irrational and false posts you make, this one easily in my book wins first prize by a mile. Unf***ing believable.

Eddie,

sorry but the mission accomplished banner was for the vessel that had just completed it's mission, not for Oper Iraqi Freedom. Go pick up Gen. Tommy Frank's book if you don't believe me, it was his idea.

Also my best friend has a brother-in-law in Iraq (10th Mtn Div U.S. Army)- and he tells all of us back home that things are totally different than what the media chooses to portray. They only report the bad things. You liberals are a victim of media hype. If you want examples and details of WHAT REALLY is going on over there let me know- I'd be glad to brush you up.

Those troops know that they are doing the right thing because they are there. They support the president and it makes them FEEL SHITTY when the people back home belittle their missions, thier ambitions, and say that the war is unjust. How the fawk would you feel??? They know they are FIGHTING A JUST FIGHT. THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM...something you take for granted. They see things first hand.

Your beloved liberal media THRIVES on turmoil. This is what sells. You have no f_cking idea how grateful those Iraqis are that we went over and liberated them. Saddam stole their oil, tortured them, and built lavish palaces while most of his citizens lived without running water. They lived in fear of being raped and shot if they farted too loud. I should have some of his letters to home posted on here, you'd really be humbled.

Good luck on your mal-practice thingy.

Good luck to this country, you mean.

It does make one wonder Kosar. I realize a lot of ppl disagree w/my views and hate Bush, so to speak, but articles like these really make one wonder: http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/news/WABC_100304_middleschoolteacher.html

P.S.- Remember Berkely was the city that would not allow our Country's Flag to be displayed- on Fire Engines, etc.,- because they thought it implied American Agression. I'm not saying 'Love It or Leave It' or anything like that, but we do have a lot of liberties and sometimes it does makes you wonder how we go from one extreme to another.

"The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get-rich-quick theory of life." --Theodore Roosevelt

And before you start mouthing off about the US stealing Iraqi oil, keep in mind that during the invasion, the troops had to secure the oil wells because Saddam rigged them with explosives. If you can show any evidence of the United States using Iraqi oil to our benefit then lets open up a new thread.

Chuck:

Here ya go. I thought Freezes post was the most idiotic post of the year and within about 8 hours you go ahead and top it. So the mission accomplished banner behind the felon was meant as mission accomplished for the aircraft carrier in returning from the Mediteranean and not mission accomplished in Iraq.

Thank you for clarifying. I also wanted to clear up another thing when Clinton said he did not have an affair with that woman, he meant Tipper Gore and not Monica Lewinski. Go pick up General Wesley Clarks book if you don't believe me, its in there.

Eddie, as usual you provide us with a classic response that we would hear from some bullshit attorney. So you admittedly stand corrected about your rediculously mis-guided statement about "Mission Accomplished"...then you turn around and start saying some shit about Bill Clinton?????

Don't give me this unrelated bullshit about Bill Clinton.
Go back up and re-read my post and comment on that.

The Chuck and Wayne Show:

Spinning "Mission Accomplished". I cannot believe even as wacked as the two of you are, that you would buy that one. Wayne, if not for his political and finanacial ambitions, then why for the billionth time, are we in Iraq.

I mean you have ad nauseum failed to provide an adequate response to that question. Obviously, because there is none. Nearly 40,000 dead and adding to it every day. Nice president you have there.

Oh yeah and Chuck, I thought I would bring up Bill as a preemtive strike. Since you like to bring him up when he fits your bill of goods. By the way, your approach to posts by always ending with requiring the reader to take some action is most annoying and patently obvious. No one does nor will they.

Weak argument logic depicting a lazy mind. You are a spin doctor. By the way, clown, what does my being a lawyer have to do with this post? You are an idiot.

Tommy Frank said it was his idea. The Navy in general said it was their idea. The specific ship said it was their idea. What can't be disputed is that the White House designed the banner. The White House made the banner. The White House put up the banner. The White House thought it would be cute to have Bush in his little flight suit stand in front of the banner. So regardless of everybody falling all over themselves to fall on the sword, the White House is responsible. Yet another in a hell of a long line of dumb decisions.

Getting back to the point of the post, I believe the polls are correct and the election is going to be very tight.

And with the way our country has become a finger-pointing society, I truly worry what is going to happen after this election regardless of the winner. I would not be surprised to see a revolt at some time in this country over the course of the next 20 years.

Unbelievable.

He wasn't egging anybody on. He was simply rebutting Dubyas insane assertion that things are progressing well in Iraq. 'Unbelievable' is right.
