sets a bad precedent. then whats the point of the death penalty if now you are allowing a clause that if you change your life you can be spared. it renders it meaningless. and you say he's an exception. but where do you draw the line? what if someone else does good? is he/she spared?

personally i could care less if he lives or dies, and i'm not really strongly opinoinated for or against the death penalty. but i do know i won't be going anywhere near downtown la tonight. hopefully usc which by the way is in the worst neck of the woods in the country burns tonight.
