Possible system play

Hopefully you all can share some insight on this topic. I haven't capped much baseball, but I think this system could work:

Doubleheaders - since most of the time they are split, bet the home team in Game 1. If that doesn't cash in, double up the original bet for game 2.

I know this wouldn't always work, but since most D-headers are split, couldn't this be easy $$$? :help:

Logically it is sound, and in previous years its probably worked okay, but its really just a shortened martingale system.


Im way too lazy to look it up, but last year if you bet whoever lost the 1st game in a double header to win the second game you would have been homeless by the all star break. I think 15 of the first 18 or so doubleheaders were swept or maybe im just dilusional.
