Gambling on line is not legal per U S law. I never heard of anyone sharing information as being against any law.

Only thing I can guess is. Payed for gambling info is against the law there. But That's really hard to believe. I mean all service say there info is just that info. It is not a invatation to break any laws. Do any of your papers post the odds in them? Would that not be gambling info that would be against the law to.

None of them go to the extent of copyright, and I doubt they even could. The worst they could do is yank your subscription if you have one without a refund, which in the case of most services is doing you a favor.

It depends what is posted.

If it is a consensus service (which is the case most of the time), I think it is MORE Ok to post those service plays as the handicapper himself has agreed to have out there in a consensus for all.

But for most services, if I would buy a suscription and they find that I am posting their member plays without consent, they would be able to basically cut off my subscription as it enfringes on their opportunity to make a profit--which is MOST IMPORTANT to most guys out there.

What I'd suggest is to contact that service after you sign on and get permission to post at a certain place for a period of time--many honest guys use that as a shot to win over new clients and provide a valuable service for folks-- which is MOST IMPORTANT to only a few, BUT a FEW that are worth following IMO !!!

djv--when newspapers post lines, they always have the "For Media Purposes Only" somewhere. I guess that makes them reputable?
