Did anyone else see the news report???

Supposedly its a tradition at the school. The seniors "highschool" play the juniors girls powder puff football rough touch well this year it appears things really got out of hand .
The game is played off of school grounds and off of school time but how can anyone from that school say they had no knowledge of this huge game taking place when it appears that the whole school goes every year????????
Some of the juniors had human fetis sp? poured on them after the game and it looked to me as if they just sat there while it was happening??? Is this some kind of initiation??????? 8 girls had to be brought to the hospital some with broken limbs?????

AND OF COURSE THE SCHOOL CLAIMS (WE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE???)

Not to mention, the girls had team jerseys:confused: An adult had to be part of this some how................
I get it that kids don't intend for anyone to really get hurt but I quote one of the girls on the news saying covered in mud or sh*t ????

"WHATS THE BIG DEAL???? NO ONE DIED OR ANYTHING"

I say the adult who helped orginize all this should be held accountable for the seriously injured girls:mad: and if anyone ever came near my daughter with a bucket of sh*t well lets just say you probably wouldn't be seeing old TBONEZ around for a loooooooooong time.

CNN reported 5 girls hospitalized,and not only using human fetis but pigs ears and animal guts................to pour over each other UGH

That's a rich area, also. The high school is in Northbrook, where I believe Phil Jackson and Doug Collins lived when they were coaching the Bulls. You'd think when people have camcorders that the girls just might have thought someone would sell/leak this to the news.

While I dont' condone this, it's been going on forever. My friend went there and I asked him about it, he said he went to the game when he was a senior which was 10 years ago, and he said he saw 1 senior hold down a JR while another girl just pissed on her. I don't know if they had all the other crazy stuff like paint and animal guts, but it has been going on for awhile.

They used to have the powder puff game at the high school I went to and it was a school sanctioned event, I think they have since got rid of it, but it really was just a football game between girls.

The sad thing is these girls acutally sign up for this chit. While I am sure they didn't expect to get chit thrown on them they knew there were going to be hazed in some form.

My highschool (Birmingham, Alabama) always played "power puff". It was a part of our homecoming week. The seniors played the juniors and the sophs played the frosh. The guys dressed up as cheerleaders and "performed" at halftime.

It was always in good fun and on school grounds. No feces, fetus, or pig parts (except pigskin) were involved.

I thought many high schools had "power puff" games. Is this a southern thing? :shrug:
