They offer those tickets on some sportsbooks.

Would you actually get paid if you won powerball on some sportsbook? How could it possibly work?

Yes you will be paying be in cash (minus taxes and fees...) no annual payment here. Those books or when you buy online lottery tickets across the globe have bought licenses and have bases in the state (or country) where the lottery is draw. Means that one day, if i'm prety lucky, i might win the jackpot in USA or UK or wherever even thought i,m not a resident of the place! :tongue Anyone who is buying online lottery tickets are suppose to be protected by insurance with the ones you're doing business but you know that what you win (cash) will always be lower than if you would have been given the chance to choose the annual rent (wich you cant because you're not "living" there. Anyhow, 50% of any big jackpot cash wont bother me at all... :)

VERY interesting.

I guess my concern was "legally" withrawing millions of dollars from a sportsbook. Neteller or not, that would raise some red flags.

But, you make it sound more on the up and up to get the cash above the board.

Glad it was hit so lines go down at quick shop near where I live.
If you drive 5 miles to get ticket your 16 times more likely to get killed in auto accident than hit lottery.

can anyone explain the overall odds to me please....just not getting it :(

on the back of the pick your own ticket, it lists the odds of 0:1 (meaning matching powerball only and winning $3) as 1:68

ummm....when there are only 42 powerball numbers, how can the odds be greater that 1:42??

KD???

I know the exact U-Stop gas station where that ticket was sold, when I was in college 10 yrs ago I used to pick up beer and cigs at it all the time and my apartment was across the street.
