Prayers and Good Karma Requested

I'm flying to Florida this morning to help my parents get back to Charlotte, NC. My Mom was hospitalized down there and, they haven't even gotten the full story, but since they refused a lung biopsy down there yesterday, the doctor discharged her and recommended they get back to Charlotte sooner rather than later.

I'll be driving them back up in short legs, taking a couple of days, stopping as often as she needs it and reducing the stress for my dad. They're both 80 and he doesn't have any business driving under this. Weather forecasts between here and there look sucky and I know it's going to be uneasy, possibly ignoring the elephant we all know is in the room.

Please send your prayers, or if you don't believe in that, I'll take good Karma, voodoo offerings of food and drink or whatever you think may help! Thank you all in advance for your thoughts.

Va Nurse....I'll pray and send some good karma too. I'm in the same predicament...my mom has a tumor that they can't operate on..today we are meeting with hospice...its been crazy for me driving down to NYC almost everyday.....My prayers and thoughts are with you...send some extra karma my way too..a teacher at my school is going down to NYC tomorrow.. I gave her $10.00 to lite a candle at St patricks cathedral for my mom..I'll e-mail her today and ask her to lite another candle for " mom of va"...

Thank you all for your support, prayers and karma. I arrived after doing an OJ in the Charlotte airport and being the last onboard the flight to Orlando. I'd forgotten older folks tolerance to warmth and I've felt like I was in a sauna since I arrived!

We should be hitting the road tomorrow and plan to arrive in Charlotte on Tuesday. She is showing a definite visible decline since they flew south for the winter but she looks better than I was expecting.

Again, thanks to all of the MJ family, you'll all be in my prayers as well!
