I do not play many preseason games at all, but I will likely be on the Ravens in every game.

Ravens -2.5

They are traditionally a great preseason team and I see that continuing this year. They only have 3 QBs now on the roster. I doubt Jackson even plays in the first game, but Huntley and McSorley can run their offense. Both have experience and have been getting all the snaps in camp since Jackson was out. Much of the preseason is about the play of the backup QBs and I like what the Ravens have. They finally have some depth at WR and there is serious competition for the final spots. They also have significant defensive depth which allows them to dominate the second halves of these shitty games.

Going to be tougher to bet on the Ravens this week since McSorley is out. They signed Kenji Bahar back who they cut before the last game so he is familiar with the system. They do get a very favorable match up though with Carolina who has PJ Walker and the awful Will Grier as their backups. This is the reason the line is 3.5 right now. I will wait to see if this drops to 3. The Ravens offense was horrible last week just like most in the preseason, but their defense was all over the field. I expect much of the same in this game plus I think they would like to keep the streak going. Will update later in the week.

I played:

Ravens -3 -115

Have to stick with the trend even though I have a little hesitation about this one given the offensive struggles of the Ravens, but as I said before, Carolina may be worse. Hoping the Ravens defense wins them another one.

Pretty much nailed that. How did you do in NFL LY? I know you like playoffs better. You had a great
end to CFB. Gl this year!

Thanks Four.

I do not make many regular season NFL plays. If I do they are mostly on Ravens games since those are the ones I tend to watch. I tend to do well in the playoffs so I mostly stick to posting that. I am a much bigger fan of the college game and I love to bet it. I also tend to bet more later in the season because I spend so much time on soccer from Sept-Nov. It is hard to find the time to properly cap for US football when you focus on European football.

I will probably just start a Ravens thread for the regular season and I will try to post a couple college games a week.

I played the Ravens once again:

-3.5 -115

I see pressure on this line moving up so I played it at 3.5 even though I hate playing that number. I think the Ravens want the record so that is a reason alone to play this game. Second reason is that the Ravens have only 2 QBs on the roster as of today. This means that Huntley will play the vast majority of the game if not all. He has proven to be a solid back up that can run the offense. Final reason is the defense once again. They are dominating the preseason and the reason why they keep winning. Ravens are just a deep team on defense which pays dividends in the preseason.

I definitely have concerns about the Ravens offense going into the first game on MNF. The receiving corps has had significant injuries all camp long, the offensive line has not really played together and Jackson is likely to be rusty throwing the ball. Just not sure they are going to be ready Week 1. Certainly helps that they get the Raiders who were horrible on defense last year, but a total over 50 looks a little high right now.
