1*pitts.-165(ml).....

at first i wasn't going to play this game but i then started thinking of the different factors for this game & thought that pitt. was worth a shot.

the factors that made me go with pitt...

this is practically a home game for pitt....it's is only a few hour drive between canton & pitt.so i think most of the fans will be rooting for the steelers & because of that i think pitt. & their new coach will be motivated to start off on the right foot for the new year in front of their fans....especially since they had a down year last year after winning the superbowl the year before. on the other hand last year the saints went winless during preseason in peyton's first year & maybe that's an indication of how payton approaches the preseason.

i also like pitt's qb rotation alot better than n.o. pitt. is installing a new offense this year, so maybe big ben will see more than normal playing time for a first game...& behind him is charlie batch, who i think will play more than normal because of the new system....brian st. pierre & bryan randall follow. behind brees, the saints have jamie martin (who played in 1 game last year) & jason file (who has not taken a snap in an nfl game).

a small bet on the moneyline to start the season.

good luck.

a system that i just came across that backs the steeler play....take it fwiw...

teams that won a playoff game the previous year were a miserable 0-4-1 ats in their first preseason game, if they played a team that didn't get to the playoffs. and, since 1991, such teams (who won a game in the previous year's playoffs) are a dismal 5-16-1 ats as underdogs if they're priced as pk or an underdog against a team that's also playing its first exhibition game.

I took the steelers giving the points because new coach in a new town trying to make a name and they have 3 QB in the system with experience. Not sure NO has the horses once the starters finish their few mins.

A side note might hurt us.... This game although in distance will be closer to Pitt in fan support it might go against us. This is in Brownie country and they would pull for any team against Pitt. But I would like to think a few steeler faithful make the drive.

Cheers
