I'm not making an argument of good or bad. In fact I'm trying to help you out by getting you to be more professional.
You got the street smarts kid, just trying to help out your professional skills so you can be ready for the big interview. I'd hate for you to lose a job because you think there are 400,000 mass graves in Iraq.
Me lose a job because of mass graves in Iraq? What job are you talking about?? Better put down the ripple.
This is rediculous. The guy murdered 400,000 innocent people. That's GENOCIDE!!! You liberals deny all facts for the sake pf partisan bullshit. Thank god Bush removed him. You can play word games all you want Murph, it just shows that you have no decent argument about the topic at hand.
Are we going to Sudan next? If I am following your logic we are now in Iraq because we wanted to remove a brutal dictator whom killed his people. so our next logical step would be to go into a choice of six other countries that also have brutal dictators. What happened to the logic of going into Iraq to remove WMD's? Also, what about the illogic used by the administration after the facade of WMD's blew up in their face that we went into Iraq to battle terrorists? I guess since most logical people would realize that the vast amount of terrorists have hailed from Saudi Arabia with 0 having been from Iraq that this spin was another lie by the administration. So now we have come full circle and the reason for invading Iraq was to remove a brutal dictator which again puts us into the position of being a nation builder while at the same time harming our inner structure within our country. To answer your question on what could be done to counter terrorism, it is my opinion that a regime change within our own country is needed before we can truly take on terrorism since in order to counter terrorism we our going to have to swallow a bitter pill and go at its base which resides in Saudi Arabia. We both know that due to the Bush families friendships with the Saudi's this is not going to happen and they would and will continue to try and sell that Iraq as a battle against terrorism which is a flat out lie! I think someone such as McCain would much better serve our purposes for battling terror as he has the understanding of what the soldiers need in time of war and I do not believe that he would have the same alliances with Saudi Arabia as Bush as McCain has always come off to me as a man that speaks the truth. Another factor that could help battle terror is to have a administration that is truthful with the people of the United States which is something that this administration has sorely lacked in doing. At this point this administration has misled the people here so many times that they are unbelievable and this leads to people doubting the course the administration has set. Even as a staunch Republican don't you cringe when you hear Bush or Cheney uttering nonsensical comments? To win the war on terror we are going to need a administration that the people can trust and believe in and I do not know if this person will be a Republican or Dem and I really don't care since this is what is needed right now in our country.
I expect to see you in there murph - looking forward to it!! Thank god hockey is back. We'll kick some ass.
Mastercapper I know what you are saying but Saddam was a bigger threat to U.S. interests than Sudan is. Hell he was firing anti-aircraft fire at our jets. There's tons of good reasons for the overthrow of Saddam Hussein and the mass graves was only one of them. We need to prioritize. Thank you though for your comments...you do make a lot of sense.
What ever happened to the investigation of Rove and Scooter for leaking the CIA information? I guess with the hurricane and the quagmire in Iraq that this investigation has slowed down
