Let's play the "are you working on this second-tier holiday" game.

Who is working? Who isn't? :0corn

I am.

working. just booked sales trip to Bermuda. Kind of spooky. When I was a kid I was fascinated with the books about Bermuda Triangle and the ancient astronaut stuff. Now we got business cooking in Antigua, Curacao, Belize and our African clients are busy fighting Al Queda. That's why theres vodka tonics on the airplanes.

I had to look up our work calendar to see if it was a holiday... well, it is not, but wouldn't matter to me. I work just about every day of the week, every week of the year. Not because I have to, but because I love the work I do!

Do you work in an office? Cause you can love your work or your job, but in my experience, office drones of all levels of responsibility tend to enjoy holidays/days off. Moreso than some other work settings I guess.

Anyhow, jealous of your love for work. Lucky person you.

I do work in an office... in my basement, with four dogs and two kids and lots of other fun stuff to distract me. I could not survive in a true "office" - I did work in one for a few years, but I would literally go in and lock my door for the whole day.

addict's post actually got me thinking that I haven't taken a "vacation" or "sick" day probably since my youngest daughter was born about three years ago. I looked at my accumulation, and I have over 500 hours, haha. My work travels with me. I could probably make a lot more money doing something else, but I feel successful being able to do something I truly love every day, and something that may one day make a big difference in the world. And, it is a huge bonus that I can do it when I want and where I want :0074
