caught about 4 of his 6 innings today, flat out nasty...his fastball has so much pop on it and that hook really keeps a lot of guys offbalance, coming in about 84 while he's pumping 95 with his fastball, nice speed differential..too bad they're shutting him down after maybe 6 more starts or so, but i do understand the rationale behind the decision...it's all or nothing with those guys like prior, wood, clement it seems(especially the first two) when that wind is gusting out, you just gear up, let it rip and hope to make some contact, bagwell got a couple this series just like that, sitting on 95 dead red..
