sure wish they hadn't changed pitchers on us...
I was all set to play the ANGELS and UNDER with Schoenweis going, then the switch to reliever POTE, and I jumped on the YANKS bandwagon. NOT a great start! Then the TIGERS get a man to third in the 9th with one out only to strand him. But, that's the past... on to tonite's card!
Texas at BOSTON
I personally can't see a line of 10.5 in any game involving HIRSCHBECK behind the plate! Games he has umped have favored the HOME TEAM 19-5, and UNDER 16-6. When the line is 9.5 or higher his record stands at 11-2 for the UNDER. With NOMO's control, this should be an easy win for BOSTON and a frustrating nite for TEXAS. With any other team, I'd expect a shutout from NOMO. The UNDER is also 14-3 when NOMO starts at nite (this game starts at 6:05 not sure if that qualifies), 9-2 in BOS last 11, and 7-3 in the last ten meetings. BOSTON is 10-2 in the last 12 meetings, have won 3 straight after having been swept by ANA, and are a solid 10-3 with NOMO at home. I may not play the SOX, but I'm definitely on the UNDER!
