Cleveland at MINNESOTA

Normally a RADKE at home is an UNDER play for me, but his record vs CLE is horrible. He hasn't faced them this year, but last year he got shelled twice by them, and they are STRONGER this year. I can't however go OVER either, but I see some value in CLEV vs MINNY. The line should be pickem at most, and we're getting the MUCH better team with a pitcher who's already beat the home club at +125. I'm in...

CLEV +125

NYY at BALTIMORE

Expect BALT to break out of their slump vs LH pitching where they have been pitiful lately, but are whacking them at home overall. This game should go OVER the 10 total as the UMP, although overall his record is 14-17 O/U, games lined at 10 are 4-1 and at 9 are 5-3. With a kid making his 2nd career start in front of a big crowd I'm assuming since it's the YANKS, and facing the YANKS, well... I doubt if he enjoys himself, for long!

Seattle at OAKLAND

PINEIRO has been lights out for SEA as they are 9-1 in his starts, and 9 of 10 have gone UNDER. As it stands, he is NOT gonna be in the rotation when the playoffs start, but I think he pitches a "message" game today vs OAKLAND to make PINELLA re-think that decision. There's an excellent chance SEA and OAK will meet in the playoffs, and since he faltered vs NYY, although the Mariners won the game, I think he gives a great effort today. SEA has yet to lose a road series this year, and they need a W today or that part of history chasing is done. After being shut down last nite, look for them to HILJUS and get the win today. I was leaning to the UNDER in this game, but I have a feeling we may see some fireworks, so I'll stick with SEATTLE!

SEATTLE -114

Tampa at TORONTO

TORONTO will bounce back in this game tonite! They kill LEFTIES and they should rock the Polish Sausage BIERBRODT tonite! Lots of trends pointing to OVER and I can't argue with em. Look for TORONTO to win this one going away, 8-4.

TORONTO -178 & OVER 9.5 EVEN

KC at CWS

Even though my DOG system came up with a play on KC, I can't pull the trigger on this team trotting out a first time starter. Everything points to the WHITE SOX here...
so I guess that means a PASS for me.

Florida at PHILA

After being shut out last nite, and PHILA not scoring til the btm of the ninth, I don't look for alot of offense tonite either. A few trends pointing to UNDER here, and as long as CLEMENT doesn't blow up, it should come in fine. PERSON has been phenomenal at home, look for it to continue.

UNDER 8.5 -120

Colorado at MONTREAL

Not gonna touch this game between two bad teams with rag-arms pitching. The OVER deserves a consideration, but I don't know if the bats will show up. HOME Team is only 9-20 when EMMEL is behind the plate, but still can't back ROCKIES ON THE ROAD! PASS

St Louis at PITT

CRAWFORD is behind the plate, and his games go like this: 8-15 HT, and 7-14 O/U. With STL coming in hot, and everything pointing to another STL win, can't see backing that trend. Also taking the UNDER here as RITCHIE is capable of a great game, the only way STL does not win this game.

STL -157 & UNDER 8.5 -120

Cincy at MILW

Many strong trends to UNDER here and MEALS is 9-19 O/U behind the plate... that's good enough for me!

UNDER 9

Atlanta at NY METS

Maddux or no MADDUX, I'm not going against these METS right now. TRASCHEL is no match for Maddux, but ATL's bats are too quiet to back on the road as a favorite. HP UMP FOSTER favors HT 20-10 and 5-1 for HOME DOGS +115 or more. Getting the red hot and EMOTION driven METS at home at plus 140 is too good to pass on...

METS +140

Chicago at HOUSTON

HOUSTON should bounce back here, but not without a fight. I look for another high scoring game between these two, so I'm passing the side and rooting for RUNS!

OVER 9.5 -120

S.F. at SAN DIEGO

JONES hardly ever wins at home, but mainly because of lack of support. ESTES is 4-0 UNDER at nite, and we have UNDER UMP BILL MILLER behind HP, whose record is 24-9 for the UNDER. Neither offense is doing much right now, so I don't see any reason for not taking this game UNDER again like last nite!

UNDER 9 ** P.O.D.**

Anaheim at TEXAS

This game is a pass for me, though I'd lean to TEX and OVER. WISE has faced TEX three times in his five starts for ANGELS, kinda weird, and he's been somewhat effective. However, I still remember watching one of his starts, and he gives up a lot of high fastball/flyouts. Those tend to land in a seat down in TEXAS, so I'm not gonna chance it. Just pass on the game.... others look sweeter to me!

Loved your write-up on SF/SD Under.

You convinced me to make this play, thanks.

Did you see the re-play of that HR that won the game for SD? Hit the heel of the glove and bounced over the fence. Unbelievable.

Damn... no wonder my accounts looks so sweet this morning! I knew I did ok in College Foots, missing early, but hitting late, but man! Sad part is... I missed TWO huge parlays by one game. I used PHIL in one, and SEA in the other. BUT, I'll take it! May not have time to do writeups, but I'll try and post some plays.
