Since GIANTFANDAVE put me in the top ten since the ALL STAR break, and I was on TIGER's board last nite, I'll post my evening plays. Was gone earlier, had no time to post, but looks like the MJ's did pretty well, with MINN, CWS, ATL, HOU, all winning and Blackcloud's easy win on CINCY over.
Good job guys!
San Fran at NY METS
LIETER and ORTIZ are both in good form, we got an UNDER UMP behind the plate, and all things point to a low scoring pitching duel. I just don't see it that way... I don't know why, but I just see these two going at it in a 5-4, 6-4 type game with lots of big hits for ESPN. SF give ORTIZ tons of support, but that will be hard to come by vs LIETER. SF is a patient veteran team though, and I see them making LIETER go deep in the count and him leaving after six or in the seventh at the latest. ORTIZ seems to like pitching at home better than the road, so I can see PIAZZA and Co. getting to him too.
OVER 7.5 EVEN and hoping for a 4-4 tie by the fourth!
NYY at ANAHEIM
ANGELS all the way! HALOS play well in game 3 after a loss at 18-6, and SCHOENWEIS should bounce back from his terrible outing vs BOSTON. ORTIZ and WASHBURN both did, and I can see SCOTT following suit. HOWEVER, he's not a shutout type pitcher, so I can see the YANKS getting to him for 3-4 runs. I just don't think HERNANDEZ is right, and ANGELS are a great fastball hitting team. I can see them putting up 7 tonite vs NYY, and getting the win and the OVER! They nearly pulled it out last nite, losing 7-5.
ANGELS -105 and OVER 9
Boston at TEXAS
PEDRO is back, but is he REALLY BACK??? I mean come on, it's been awhile, and the only shot RED SOX have is for him to get well. How long will they let him go??? TEX has a bunch of veteran hitters who will make him throw alot of pitches and get him outta there as soon as possible. Can't see him going more than five or six at most, and then it's the pen, which is bad news for BEANTOWN! DAVIS has been stellar in his last two home starts shutting down the YANKS and INDIANS, and can see him doing the same to BOSTON. I'm taking the HOME DOG and the UNDER, as the only way I see BOSOX winning is a PEDRO shutout or close to it.
TEXAS +145 and UNDER 9 EVEN
