Am i not mistaken or has NE accepted the ball everytime they won the toss recently? Hasn't Carolina deferred (as most teams do) everytime they have won the toss recently?????

I'd hate to say it's a lock but it looks like almost anyway the coin falls NE will get the opening kick?

Any info I'm missing from the coaches and their weekly quotes?

I do know that Carolina won the toss against Philly and elected to receive.

huh???? in the nfl there is no such thing as deferring..if you win the toss and turn down the ball you also give it up to start the 2h...teams hardly ever turn down receiving the opening kickoff...perhaps if the weather conditions were horrble!!!!!:nono:

bej beat me to it, he is right. A team would just defer in horrible conditions...........or if they had a super defense against a very very inept offense, which is not the case here. So, be careful, hope you haven't put a lotta large on it. GL.............THE HITMAN
