Props to the Pistons

They played their best game tonight even with pretty even officiating. I would have like to see officiating like this throughout the series but you can't say that the calls weren't pretty even in the decisive game.

Nice run for the Lakers considering they didn't have any momentum going into the playoffs and battling key injuries.

Congrats again to the Detroit Pistons!!!

Lakers would be best to clean house. Phil Jackson needs to go. Kupcheck the GM needs to go. Lakers clearly need to get younger and more athletic. Feel so bad for Kobe and Shaq. Especially Malone. Shaq should have been MVP of the series! Nobody should blame Kobe either. Give Pistons defense and defensive philosophy credit and refs not calling fouls.

Silver lining....we're that much closer to football season and USC winning back 2 back National Championships!!!

SC cheated vs Michigan and the refs handed them that Rose Bowl...everyone knows it..LSU was the real natnl. champ.

STOP with your digs about the refs etc.....if they called half the fouls for Det in games 1-4...DET STILL WOULD HAVE WON, just like tonight.

I gave Detroit props and I loved how they played tonight. They played like champions and they did what they had to do to win this series. Simply put, they got the job done. Congrats to them.

Doesn't hurt too much. I am Laker fan and have experienced 3 championships in last 5 years and one finals series loss. I been very very spoiled.

I am a big Laker fan. Had $1500 to win $1500 on Lakers to win championship and had Lakers to win series. Luckily I hedged after game 2 and took Pistons to win in 5 and win in 6 so I did not lose too much. Would have been better off financially if Pistons won in 6 but I came out ok. I put tad more money on Pistons to win in 6 vs 5.

Been a huge Laker fan for the last 10 years.

That said, USC is my true team I root for!!!!!
