Teams in the middle of the season do well when handcuffed with big spreads.. They are usually firing on all cylinders while their opponents are a Deer in the headlights ...

HAMMERS OF THE WEEK
FRESNO FLATFACES : -20 : 15*

?We played at a high level and against good competition. Our record just doesn?t indicate the type of team we?re playing like right now. I like the way we?re playing.??Coach Pat Hill

FLATFACES 41 SPARTYS 10

HOUSTON MIDDLE AGED CQQGERS : -17 : 10*

. We have a lot of proving left to do, and this (game against Tulane) is opportunity number six for us.??QB Case Keenum.

CQQGERS 52 SOYLENT GREEN WAVE 13

BYU FELINES : -17 : 10*

It?s nearly impossible to stop BYU?s running game right now, which is even deeper and stronger than perhaps the Cougars even recognized. Harvey Unga?at his healthiest form in about 1 1/2 seasons?leads the way with 494 yards (76 carries) and eight touchdowns, but he?s been spotted nicely by the three-headed monster of fullback Manase Tonga, backup Bryan Kariya and change-of-pace scat back JJ Di Luigi. Di Luigi is finally getting comfortable in his third season at the college level after a spectacular high school career in California (he missed his first BYU season with a foot injury). He has 25 carries for 168 yards. He hasn?t lost a yard this year, or fumbled?two big progressions from last year. He even leads the team in yards per rush, barely outdoing Unga (6.7 to 6.5).

FELINES 55 TENOCHTITLANS 17

WV HILLBILLYS err MOUNTAINQUEERS ERR NEERS WHATEVER: -20 : 8*

Darius Marshall, the nation?s No. 2 running back.
averages 147.4 yards a game.
A year ago, WVU held Marshall to just 69 yards on 25 carries while Darius Marshall, who is No. 2 in the nation rushing this year, managed only 45 yards on 16 carries.

Damn you BOLEMIA..Cannot believe I'm going to side with........

WISCONSIN: -2' : 10*

?I hate losing to these guys,? Bielema said. ?Absolutely, it?s something I can?t stand for whatever reason.

Bolemia is in a FOUL mood after OHST loss and I just do not see Iowa coming in on Homecoming and spoiling his night chasing coeds...I mean watching tape for next weeks game...
Usually does very well vs good teams after his OHST losses except for Pennst a few years back......

MTS/BULLDOGS : O 54 : 10*

BDOGS have trouble with Mobile QBs and Dogs will score vs MTS.....

State?s pass defense is its weakest point, and personnel changes still don?t seem to drastically change things.
?We have another tough challenge this week, obviously, playing another no-huddle spread offense team that?s maybe a little different from last week. It has a very, very talented quarterback that leads their team. A little bit more of a running quarterback than a passing quarterback this week?not that he doesn?t throw the ball real well.??MSU coach Dan Mullen on Middle Tennessee State and QB Dwight Dasher
