Well, I had Providence so of course I think the ball was still in his damn hand when the ball hit all zeros. . .

Oh well. . . if Providence had played some defense, we'd be watching a second OT.

sorry guys...had providence also and unfortunately, the ball was clearly gone before the red light came on....good call by the zebras and a tough break for us prov. backers. good luck on the rest of the evening.

i agree, the ball was in his hands, but the light had not yet gone off and i don't know the rules for last second shots..but the announcers made it sound like that was a big deal

according to the rules it was the right call, as long as the horn and the red light are in sync

what i dont understand is why isnt the clock, horn, and light all in sync
How can the shot count if there no time left when he released?

:thefinger TeXas and Barnes who was goosing the Refs the whole time they were reviewing

announcers are idiots.....

when 00.1 goes to 0.00 on the scoreboard the time remaining is not shown-- 00.09, 00.08, 00.07 etc..... account for the delay til the red light goes off

of course they and the Providence coaches are too stupid to mention/realize this

referees made the correct call and THAT is why we go by the light and NOT the clock...

The friars have nobody to blame but themselves.

Basketball 101 : Stop the dribble! he went 3/4 length of the court virtually uncontested.
