Sorry guys, its been hell here at the club. Had a manager mother get ill, so working open to close this past week. The worst thing is, I was in first place in our pick-em football contest at work, and didnt have time to fill one out, so had 0 wins this week. Oh well, here is the info on the ps3's at sams club..........



almost all the clubs I checked for you guys, have 2 coming in, thats it. Some have 3, but 1 is the lower unit. They are ONLY SELLING THEM TO BUSSINESS MEMBERS. SO IF YOU DONT HAVE A BUSSINESS MEMBERSHIP FORGET IT THEY WONT SELL IT TO YOU. So far, all the managers I have talked too, and I just left work, had nobody in line yet.So if your willing to wait, heres the place to go.

you have to show your tax id form to get a bussiness membership, because they are cheaper then a regular one. and yes only the first two people will get a ps3 thats all

now why in gods name would they only get two? Why even get them? There may be more fist fights than units. That doesn't surprise me tho because walmart aka sams club runs ass backwards. Maybe when they get 100 do you think they could possible hire more than one cashier?

at sams club our profit margin ranges between .05 - 5% on everything we sell, where as wal mart marks things up 25 %.

as for you sponge, mr hire more then one cashier, last friday night ( our busiest time of the week ) wal mart let me schedule 2 . :mj07:

sad thing is, my club makes $1,000,000 a week
and I have 12 cashiers and I always get a call from homoffice telling me to cut payroll:director: :cursin: :cuss: so I know what your talking about.

What is nuts about it is your pissing people off and some will never comeback. Is management trying to tell me that hiring another cashier is gonna hurt profits? that might be the case if the profit margin is .000000001 percent but it isn't. Let me ask you something else bro. Do you guys still get in a circle and have that morning cheer? This use to crack me up. i loved the free coffee but the splenda was only around once in awhile. And in my neck of the woods the free treats they have is a nice jesture so why not cut there? I see some deadbeats hitting every stand like its gonna be their only meal for the week.

all the free treats you get to eat thrrough sams club is paid by the company that we demo, so if we demo nestle"s chocolate for 8 hours, nestles would pay for all the chocolate we give out, plus the persons 8 hours. it costs us nothing at all to have people demo food. as for the cashiers, i agree 100%, as stated above.last year my profit was $1,500,000. that was the check i sent home office.sure i get a nice percentage of that, but its home office that tells me how many hours and how many cashiers i am aloud. at $8 an hour 40 hours aweek, i could have hired 30 more cashiers and still made a cool million for the company which would have been good enough for me but nut for all the numnuts at arkansas who want the $30,000,000 bonus every year, and who suffers ?

Here is something I didn't understand. The pricks at the 2 local Sam's Club wouldn't disclose how many PS3 they would have. According to CArdShark it would be 2. I called the day before. How would he know, but these jerks didn't? They knew all along. What is sad is I drove by one at 8:30 PM and there was 9 people camping out. Maybe if these honeypots told people how many they would have it would avoid having peoples false hopes raised.

hey bud i should have realized that about the food. This company has to be the cheapest group of billionaires in the history of billionaires. Its one thing to cost cut but these guys go way to far and someday it will be their downfall. I feel for you man because i know you guys get a lot of flake and its not your doing. The one thing people in our rush rush society do not want to do is wait and Walmart to save that 8 bucks an hour loses probably a couple of hundred customers a day(world wide). You wouldn't believe the people who i hear complain about this and say they will never go back.
