You might want to swing by a bestbuy that might be in you're area for a midnight release. The circuit city sale has been advertised so more people might no about it as opposed to best buy which hasnt advertised their sale. I personally am going with circuit city because they actually have a plan on how they will be doing this and dont have to worry about riots breaking out and dropping elbows on people to get a PS3:142smilie

Only problem is the Best buy with the midnight open and the Circut City with the midnight open are on opposite sides of the city. I think I might drive by the Circuit City at 3, if there are 100 people, I'll head over to the Best buy, too many people, I'll take my chances online, then try and get up early and go to Sams or Costco.

i think sams/costco might be a good try because people will be hitting up the bigger retailers like walmart/bestbuy ... costco is sometimes forgotten

If the supply is less than half what the 360 was & the demand stays the same, you may be talking a heck of a lot more than 1,000 profit.

How much were 360's going for on ebay? If 1500, I would expect to see 2500-3000 for the ps3.

I will be receiving 3 on nov 17..here is my plan

there are several best buys in my area, also a walmart, circuit city, target and eb games.

SInce I can only line up at one location (walmart, I will line up around 4-5am, store opens at 9am), I will have several friends line up at the other locations for me.
So I hope to have in my hands 5 ps3's, with my plan being to sell all of them on ebay. Though to whichever friend grabs a ps3, I am splitting the profits with them. Assuming a $1500 sale on ebay for all 5 units, I hope to fetch around 2K.

I am a manager for sams club in charge of electronics, every year everybody forgets about us and goes to the big retailers ( wal mart, target,best buy etc.) there has never been a line at my store when I opened it, and Im guessing this year wont be any different. oh , and yes I will be the first to buy mine before I open the doors.

and 1 limit ps3 per membership household.
