from a playing and coaching stand point it could lead to more runs,ball is tuff to throw when hit on ground and also it shoots and skips when its hit on the infield grass then when it gets to skim surface it bites so makes it very hard to read spin. also outfielders hate it when grass is wet because the ball will snake at them and they also can't get the good jump.
with the moisture in the air the ball doesnot go as far but lot of funny things happen when it is wet. could never play the under on a wet day to much can happen also most of the time if you have rain you will have winds that will change direction out of nowhere.
