Also, some things to keep in mind that Adam re-hashes:
Some things to remember about consensus reports.
1.) There is no report on the internet which collectively gathers and shares the total amount of dollars bet at a group of Sportsbooks, nor will there ever be.
2.) Every sportsbook is different and offers different lines, therefore each tends to have a different need. While you can get a small look at the big picture, it is never safe to assume every sportsbook is in need of the same team.
3.) Almost all of the reports on the internet currently come from free pick em contests. By buying or fading the majority of the numbers, you are basing your bet on free opinions from gamblers, and nothing more.
4.) A consensus report is irrelevant, just like a sharp and square report is irrelevant if there is no sourcing attached. With simply percentages listed, it becomes an opinion to which side the sportsbook needs and which it does not.
5.) It is not a bad thing to be on the deemed ?public side?. Money moves lines not opinions. If you are getting the best of the number, you are making a good bet. Not all line moves come from ?sharp? bettors.
