just for giggles, anyone have the record,

for home favs and home dogs before their bye week

Well, I didn't break it down into fav's & dogs or home & away. But for this season the team headed into a bye week is 5-4 ATS (after taking out the 3 occasions when both teams in a game were headed into a bye week). Pretty small sample size and probably doesn't mean much. The database I use to look things like this up doesn't do "before" situations, only "after"s. :(

Ok, home and away....

Home teams into a bye: 2-2 ATS
Road teams into a bye: 3-2 ATS

...and on the 3 occasions where both teams were headed for a bye, the home team won and covered twice (Pitt L vs Oak, SF W vs Wash, Sea W vs Minn).

So, home teams into a bye overall this year are 4-3 ATS.

no doubt about it, GB is Joe Public's play tonight

it's everywhere and Favre is money

GB might jump to -2 or -3 by game time, hopefully

they absolutely own the bears
